W.P.(C) 1874/2016 & CM 8016/2016(stay) We have heard the counsel for the parties. The main prayer in this writ petition is that the respondents are not deciding the issue of registration of the petitioner as a registered vendor for malted milk food. The plea of the petitioner is that it has missed two tenders only because of the pendency of the registration of the petitioner. It has also missed the recent tender which was invited on 21.01.2016 because of this. A direction has been sought requiring the respondents to decide the issue of registration forthwith.

Without going into the other reliefs sought for by the petitioner, we feel that it would be appropriate to dispose of this writ petition by directing the respondents to decide the issue of registration of the petitioner as a registered vendor within eight weeks from today. The result would be communicated to the petitioner immediately thereafter. If the petitioner is aggrieved by the same, it would be open to the petitioner to take recourse to law.

The writ petition stands disposed of.

We are making it clear that we have not expressed any view on the other issues.
