% 13.03.2018 Petitioners are seeking quashing of the present FIR i.e. the FIR No.0179/2015 registered under Sections 406/498A/34 of the IPC as also under Section 4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act on the complaint of respondent no.2 at police station Aman Vihar. Respondent no.2 is present in person. Her presence has been identified by the Investigating Officer as also by her counsel. Parties have settled their disputes as their married life could not work out. They have been divorced by a decree of mutual consent dated 17.8.2016. Petitioner no.1 has agreed to pay a sum of Rs.1,95,000/- to respondent no.2 towards full and final settlement of all her claims of which Rs.1,30,000/- already stand paid. Rs.65,000/- has been paid today by way of a demand draft; which has been accepted by

respondent no.2. Parties endorse the terms of the settlement which are contained in the memorandum of understanding dated 19.11.2015 arrived at between the parties at the Medical Centre, Rohini Courts. This is a fit case where the prayer made in the petition be allowed. Accordingly, to secure ends of justice, the FIR No.0179/2015 registered under Sections 406/498A/34 of the IPC as also under Section 4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act at police station Aman Vihar and all the proceedings emanating therefrom stand quashed. Petition disposed of.
