After making some submissions, the Counsel for Applicant states that he would like to withdraw the present petition and seeks liberty to apply afresh once the public witnesses have been examined before the Trial Court. 2.

Applicant be permitted to renew his request before the Trial Court once the public witnesses have been examined. If and when such a request is made, the same shall be considered on its own merits. 3.

All rights and contentions of the parties are left open. 4.

The Court has not commented on the merits of the case. 5.

Considering that the period of custody is more than 5 years, the Trial Court is requested to expedite the recording of the testimonies of the public witnesses.
