These are petitions filed under section 528 of Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 seeking quashing of FIR No. 32/2019 dated 28.01.2019 under sections 354/354A/354D/506/34 of IPC registered at Police Station - Okhla Industrial Area and proceedings emanating therefrom.

It is stated that there was some misunderstanding between the parties resulting in registration of the FIR. During the pendency of the proceedings, the parties have arrived at a settlement.

All the petitioners are present in Court and are identified by their counsel Mr Janender Kumar Chumbak. Respondent No.2/complainant is also present in Court and is identified by the Investigating Officer SI Vidhi, Police Station - Okhla Industrial Area.

The respondent No.2/complainant states that the matter has been settled and does not wish to prosecute the aforesaid FIR any further and wants to put a quietus to the entire matter. Both the parties state that they have entered into the aforesaid settlement out of their own free will, volition and without any threat, force, undue influence or coercion. 5.

It is stated by the respondent No.2 that she has no objection if the aforesaid FIR is quashed.

I am satisfied that the matter has been settled and the settlement is lawful. Since the parties have arrived at a settlement and no disputes are pending, I am convinced that quashing of such proceedings on account of compromise would bring about peace and would secure ends of justice. Court does not see any fruitful purpose if criminal proceedings are permitted to be prosecuted any further.

In this view of the matter, there are no reasons to continue the proceedings. For the said reasons, the FIR No. 32/2019 dated 28.01.2019 under sections 354/354A/354D/506/34 of IPC registered at Police Station - Okhla Industrial Area and the consequential proceedings emanating therefrom are hereby quashed.

The petitions are disposed of accordingly. All pending applications are also disposed of.
