Petitioner seeks initiation of contempt proceedings against her husband for not adhering to the directions regarding payment of maintenance.

When asked, learned counsel for the petitioner, very fairly, admitted that an execution petition has already been filed, which is now listed before the concerned Court on 27th Instant. She, however, submits that a parallel remedy can also be availed. 3.

However, after hearing arguments for some time, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that she would be satisfied, at the moment, if the learned Executing Court is requested to expedite the execution petition. However, she also states that her right to approach this Court again seeking initiation of contempt may also be left open. 4.
