By this petition, the petitioners are aggrieved by their transfer Orders dated 25.10.2024, issued by the Railway Board, assigning the petitioners to various Railway Protection Special Force (in short, 'RPSF') Battalions, despite the petitioners submissions, and disregarding their preferences. The petitioners claim to have submitted representation against the transfer orders, however, they have received no response thereto.

Notice is accepted by Mr. Vineet Dhanda, learned counsel on behalf of the respondents. He submits that he does not have any instructions from the respondents as on date. 4.

representation made by the petitioners, the respondents should first consider this writ petition as a representation of the petitioners, and decide the same within a period of two weeks, by way of a speaking order.

We make it clear that we have not expressed any opinion on the merits of the claim made by the petitioners and the same shall be considered by the competent authority of the respondents, independently and in accordance with law.

In case, the petitioners are aggrieved by the order so passed, it shall be open to the petitioners to challenge the same in accordance with law.
