This is a petition filed under Section 29A of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 seeking extension of the mandate of the Arbitral Tribunal by a further period of 8 months for making and publishing the final Award.

It is stated that the learned Arbitrator underwent a surgery and hence, the delay.

For the said reasons, issue notice to the respondent. 4.

Mr. Srivastava, learned counsel accepts notice on behalf of the respondent and has no objection to the petition being allowed. 5.

I am satisfied that sufficient cause has been shown for delay. In view of the aforesaid, the mandate of the Arbitral Tribunal is extended by a further period 8 months from today.
