The present writ petition has been filed against the Demand Notice dated 11th September, 2025 issued by the Joint Director (Estate-I) of New Delhi Municipal Council ('NDMC'), whereby a demand of Rs. 53,11,920/- has been raised.

It is submitted that the petitioner carries on business and trade through Shop No. S-15, Mini Market, Palika Bazar, Connaught Place, New Delhi110001. 3.

Notice in the writ petition was issued on 16th October, 2025. Further, it was directed that subject to the petitioner depositing a sum of Rs.25,00,000/- to the respondent/NDMC within four (4) weeks, no coercive action shall be taken against the petitioner on the basis of demand notice dated 11th September, 2025.

Counsel appears on behalf of the respondent/NDMC and submits that the petitioner is yet to deposit the aforesaid sum of Rs.25,00,000/- with respondent/NDMC. He further submits that the property of the petitioner has since been sealed on account of the petitioner not depositing the aforesaid sum.

None appears on behalf of the petitioner.

Based on the aforesaid narration, it appears that the petitioner is no longer interested in pursuing the present writ petition. 7.

Accordingly, the writ petition is dismissed for non-prosecution.
