% 23.09.2016 Despite service no one appears for the respondent nos. 2 and 3. Respondent no. 2 is son and respondent no. 3 is daughter-in-law of the petitioners. Petitioners have alleged that respondent no. 2 is a drunkard and under the influence of liquor he extended beating to the petitioners. Respondent nos. 2 and 3 also hurled abuses on the petitioners. On 16th November, 2014 respondent nos. 2 and 3 gave beatings to the petitioners and they were saved by their unmarried daughter Kusum. Respondent nos.

2 and 3 are ill treating the petitioners in order to pressurize petitioner no. 1 to transfer the property bearing no. A-62, Vikas Nagar Extension, New

Delhi in their names.

Petitioners have alleged that a complaint was made to D.C.P. and S.H.O. of Police Station Ranhola but to no effect. Petitioners have prayed for police protection.

Vide order dated 21st March, 2016, respondent no. 1 was directed to provide necessary protection to the petitioners through SHO concerned, after assessing the element of threat, if any.

Learned Additional Standing Counsel submits that respondent nos. 2 and 3 have left the property and there is no threat to the life of petitioner. It is further submitted that mobile numbers of beat staff, Divisional Officer and SHO concerned have been provided to the petitioners, inasmuch as beat staff and Divisional Officer have been directed to visit the petitioners' house and provide necessary assistance to them.

Present petition is disposed of with the directions to SHO, P.S. Ranhola to ensure the safety of petitioners through the beat staff. A.K. PATHAK, J.
