The present petition has been filed under Section 528 BNSS, 2023 seeking quashing of FIR No.513/2025 under Section 78/351(2), BNS registered at Police Station Fatehpur Beri, New Delhi and all consequential proceedings emanating therefrom, on the ground that the parties have arrived at a settlement.

The FIR in question was registered at the instance of respondent no.2. alleging misbehavior by the petitioners.

During pendency of the proceedings, the parties have arrived at settlement, terms whereof have been reduced in the form of Compromise Deed / MOU dated 12.08.2025, a copy of which has been annexed as Annexure P-3 to the present petition.

It is recorded in the settlement that parties have amicably settled all their claims and they will cooperate with each other for the quashing of present FIR.

The respondent no.2, who is present in Court, on being queried by the Court, affirms the factum of settlement and state that she does not wish to prosecute the criminal proceedings.

In view of the fact that the parties have arrived at a settlement, no useful purpose will be served in continuing the proceedings, and it would be an exercise in futility.

It is, thus, in the interest of justice that the present FIR and all the other proceedings emanating therefrom be quashed. 8.

Consequently, the petition is allowed and the FIR No.513/2025 under Section 78/351(2), BNS registered at Police Station Fatehpur Beri, New Delhi and all consequential proceedings emanating therefrom, is quashed. 9.

The petition stands disposed of in the above terms. 10.
