O R D E R

% 08.07.2015 The prayer in the writ petition in terms of the order dated 22.05.2013 deleting the prayers in Para 17(i) and (iii) of the petition are as under: "ii) Issue appropriate writ order/direction thereby banning of BCCI (Board of Control for Cricket and/or to be taken under the control of respondent no.1;

iv) Issue appropriate writ order/direction to pass such other orders and further orders as may be deemed necessary on the facts and in the circumstances of the case."

When the matter is taken up for consideration, it is brought to our notice by the learned ASG that the very same issue has been considered by the Supreme Court in Board of Control for Cricket in India vs. Cricket Association of Bihar & Ors. JT 2015 (1) Supreme Court 526 (Civil Appeal No.4235 of 2014 and etc. dated 21.02.2015) and a Committee has

been appointed to examine and make suitable recommendations on various aspects mentioned in Paras 108 to 110 of the said judgment. In view of the said decision of the Supreme Court, we do not think it necessary to keep this petition pending any longer. Accordingly, this petition is disposed of granting liberty to the petitioner to file a fresh petition in case necessity thereof arises. CHIEF JUSTICE JAYANT NATH, J JULY 08, 2015/pmc
