% 14.03.2018 Respondent no.2-Neha @ Urvashi is present in Court along with her counsel and has been identified by SI Omveer Singh of police station Nand Nagri. She submits that she has settled the matter with the petitioner no.1 of her own free will and without any undue force, pressure or coercion before the Counselling Cell, Family Court, Shahdara District, Delhi on 26th December, 2016. She further submits that her marriage with petitioner no.1 has already been dissolved by a decree of divorce by mutual consent dated 5th December, 2017 passed by the Family Court, Shahdara, Karkardooma Court, Delhi. She also submits that she has received entire settled amount and has no objection in case FIR is quashed against the petitioner no.1 and his relatives, that is, petitioner nos. 2 to 5. Affidavit of respondent no.2 is

also on record.

Keeping in mind the settlement arrived at between the petitioner and respondent no.2 voluntarily, in the interest of justice, FIR No. 1343/2015 under Sections 498A/406/34 IPC registered at police station Nand Nagri and the consequent proceedings emanating therefrom are quashed. Petition is disposed of in the above terms. Miscellaneous application is disposed of as infructuous.
