CRL.M.C. 8970/2024 1.

This petition has been filed, seeking quashing of FIR No.643/2006 under Section 406/421/120B IPC, Police Station Seema Puri basis settlement arrived at between the parties dated 9th April 2024, which is on record of this Court.

before the Court and are duly identified by the IO as also by the counsel. 3.

It is submitted that as per settlement, Rs.7.50 lakhs have been received by respondent no.2, which fact is confirmed by respondent no.2, who states that he has no objection to quashing of the FIR. 4.

It is pointed out that another FIR, being, FIR No.580/2006, with similar offences against the accused, was quashed by this Court vide order dated 20th May 2024 in Crl. M.C. No.4041/2024, passed by this Court. 5.

APP for State, on instructions, informs that there were 3 more victims as noted by the Trial Court and one of them has, since, passed away while the other two are untraceable.

In view of the above facts and considering that no useful purpose will be served in continuance of the proceedings, it is directed that the aforesaid FIR and the consequent proceedings arising therefrom are hereby quashed, subject to the cost of Rs.50,000/- (Rupees Fifty Thousand Only) to be deposited by each of the petitioners with the Delhi State Legal Services Authority (A/c No. 18580110053263, UCO Bank, Branch: Rouse Avenue, IFSC: UCBA0003364) within a period of four weeks from today. The amount so deposited shall be utilized by the Delhi State Legal Services Authority for providing counselling/psychological support to POCSO victims requiring such assistance.

Petition stands disposed of with aforesaid directions. Pending applications are disposed of as infructuous.
