This matter is listed today as 05.02.2025 was declared as a holiday on account of General Elections-2025 to the Legislative Assembly of NCT of Delhi.

None appears for the appellant.

The present appeal has been filed by the appellant to assail an interim order passed by the learned Family Court, West District, Tis Hazari Courts, New Delhi granting interim maintenance to the respondent and the minor son of the parties @ Rs.5,000/- each. We may note that the present appeal is also accompanied by an application seeking condonation of 176 days' delay in filing the same.

additional affidavit to explain the inordinate delay of 176 days in filing the appeal. The appellant has since filed the same. 5.

Having perused the said additional affidavit filed by the appellant in terms of this Court's aforesaid order, we are of the view that the grounds set out by the appellant therein with a view to explain the inordinate delay in filing the appeal cannot, by any stretch of imagination, be said to be sufficient reasons. We, therefore, find absolutely no reason to condone the said inordinate and unexplained delay.

We, therefore finding no reason in the said application for condonation of delay of 176 days, dismiss the appeal, alongwith the pending applications.
