This is the petition under Section 29A (4) and (5) of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act seeking extension of mandate of the Tribunal by one year which expired on 26.03.2024, 2.

Notice was issued in the present petition vide order dated 18.11.2024 and the learned CGSC appearing on behalf of the respondent had sought time to seek instructions.

Today, he submits that the respondent has no objection in case the time period is further extended by six months from today. 4.

I am satisfied that there is justified ground for extension as articulated in the petition. Accordingly, the mandate of Tribunal is extended by another six months from today.

Further, the period from 26.03.2024 till today is also regularised. 6.

The petition stands disposed of.
