This is a petition under Section 29-A (4) and (5) of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 ('Act of 1996') seeking extension of mandate of the Sole Arbitrator by a period of six (6) months w.e.f. 08.11.2024 for completion of arbitral proceedings and making of arbitral award. 2.
It is stated that previously a similar petition under Section 29A of the Act of 1996 was filed and this Court vide order dated 15.05.2024 in O.M.P.(MISC.)(COMM.) 890/2024 The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above. O.M.P.(MISC)(COMM.) 387/2024 had extended the mandate of the Sole Arbitrator for a period of six (6) months from 08.05.2024 to 08.11.2024. 3.
It is stated that the matter is at the stage of final arguments and the Petitioner has substantially concluded its submissions and Respondent shall begin its arguments on 30.11.2024.

Ms. Leena Tuteja, Advocate enters appearance on behalf of the Respondent and states that he as well, joins the Petitioner's request of extending the mandate of the Sole Arbitrator by a period of six (6) months. 5.
Having considered the averments made in the petition and in view of joint request of the parties, the petition is allowed and the mandate of the Sole Arbitrator for completion of arbitral proceedings and for passing an arbitral award is extended by a period of six (6) months w.e.f. 08.11.2024. 6.
Accordingly, the petition is disposed of, along with the pending applications, if any.
