This order is in continuation of the order dated 13.03.2018, on which date, counsel for the petitioner had stated that her client had misplaced a copy of the appeal that he had dispatched by speed post to the respondent No.3/Appellate Authority on 01.11.2017. In view of the said submission, counsel for the respondents was directed to obtain instructions from the Department as to whether such an appeal had been received from the petitioner, as stated by the counsel for the petitioner. 2.

Today, counsel for the respondents confirms that the Department has received the appeal submitted by the petitioner to the respondent No.3/Appellate Authority in November, 2017.

A copy thereof shall be furnished to the counsel for the petitioner within four weeks. W.P.(C) 2326/2018

Further, having regard to the limited relief prayed for by the petitioner in this petition, which is for expeditious disposal of the appeal dated 01.11.2017 submitted to the respondent No.3/Appellate Authority, it is deemed appropriate to dispose of this petition at the stage of admission itself with directions issued to the respondent No.3/Appellate Authority to consider and decide the appeal filed by the petitioner in accordance with law, within six weeks under written intimation to him. If the petitioner is aggrieved by the decision taken, he shall be entitled to seek legal recourse. 4.

The petition is disposed of.
