This application stands disposed of.
CRL.M.C. 7501/2025 1.
The limited relief being claimed in the present petition is for issuance of directions to the trial Court to decide the interim maintenance application filed in Complaint Case No. 1561/2022, titled as, "Ms. Anshu vs. Rahul Verma & Another".
2.
It is submitted that complaint was filed in the year 2022 and interim maintenance of only Rs. 4,000/- per month has been granted in favour of the petitioner, which is highly insufficient for meeting the day to day requirements of the petitioner. It is submitted that disposal of the interim maintenance application is getting delayed date after date, without it getting The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above. disposed.
3.
The trial Court, vide impugned order dated 18.10.2025, rejected the request for pre-ponement on the ground that it has a high pendency of 1750 cases and because of the heavy board, it was not possible to pre-pone the date of hearing in the matter and disposed of the application. 4.
Since the board of the trial Court is stated to be heavy, it may not be appropriate to direct the trial Court to pre-pone the matter. However, considering that application is for interim maintenance, which is lingering since last number of dates, it is expected that the trial Court would hear and dispose of the application as expeditiously as possible and preferably by the next date fixed before the trial court.
