The instant petitions under Section 29A(4) & (5) of the Arbitration & Conciliation Act, 1996 have been filed as joint petitions seeking extension of the mandate of the Arbitral Tribunal for a period of six months with effect from 16.01.2025 in the arbitration proceedings which are going on between The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above. Material on record indicates that the Arbitral Tribunal was constituted on 10.03.2022. It is stated that the mandate of the Arbitral Tribunal was extended on 10.05.2024 and the mandate of the Arbitral Tribunal will come to an end on 16.01.2025.

It is stated by the learned Counsel for the Petitioner that the matter is now at the stage of cross examination of Respondent's witness but it would require additional time of at least six months for the Arbitral Tribunal for making the Arbitral Award.

In the facts and circumstance of this case, this Court is inclined to extend the mandate of the Arbitral Tribunal for a further period of six months with effect from 16.01.2025 so that the Award can be pronounced and no further extension of time would be required by the Tribunal. 5.
The petitions are disposed of along with the pending applications, if any.
