Accordingly, this application is disposed of. CRL.M.A. 411/2025 (under Section 528 BNSS read with Section 482 Cr. P.C. seeking extension of parole for 60 days) 1.

This is an application seeking extension of 60 days in respect of parole granted by the predecessor vide order dated 10.12.2024. The current parole is stated to expire on 09.01.2025.

Learned counsel for the Petitioner states that the father of the Petitioner was operated on 01.01.2025 and there were complications in his surgery and he requires post-operative care.

Learned standing counsel for the State states that the Petitioner is entitled to parole for a maximum period of four (4) weeks at any given point of time. He states that the grounds now set out in the application were duly considered by the predecessor while granting parole on 10.12.2024. He states that the Petitioner has siblings, who can take care of the ailing father. 4.

Learned counsel for the Petitioner states on instructions that the Petitioner undertakes to surrender on 16.01.2025 and shall not seek any further extension.

In the facts noted hereinabove, the parole is extended only by a period of one (1) week until 16.01.2025.

With the aforesaid directions, the application stands disposed of. 7.

Copy of the order be sent to the Jail Superintendent for information and necessary compliance.
