The present petition has been filed under Section 29-A(4) and (5) of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 seeking extension of the mandate of the Arbitral Tribunal.

Counsel appearing on behalf of the respondent on advance notice does not oppose the aforesaid request. It is stated by the counsel for the parties that the arbitration proceedings are at the stage of final hearing and are likely to be concluded shortly.

It is further stated that the mandate of the Arbitral Tribunal is expiring today, i.e., 17th October, 2025.

Accordingly, the mandate of the Arbitrator is extended for a further period of six (6) months from today.

The petition stands disposed of with the aforesaid directions. 6.
