This is a petition under Section 29A(4) of the Arbitration & Conciliation Act, 1996 for extending the mandate of the Arbitral Tribunal for a period of further 15 days in the arbitration proceedings which are going on between the parties before the Arbitral Tribunal. 2.
Material on record indicates that the Arbitral Tribunal was constituted on 07.11.2019. It is stated that the mandate of the Arbitral Tribunal was last extended on 05.08.2024 extending the mandate till 31.12.2024 for publishing the award.

It is stated by the learned Counsel for the Petitioner that an email was received from the office of the learned Arbitrator seeking further extension The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above. of the mandate of the Arbitral Tribunal till 15.01.2025 for pronouncement of the award.

In the facts and circumstance of this case, this Court is inclined to extend the mandate of the Arbitral Tribunal for a further period of one month from 31.12.2024 so that the Award can be pronounced and no further extension of time would be required by the Tribunal for pronouncement of the award.

The petition is disposed of along with the pending applications, if any.
