According to learned counsel for respondent, when W.P(C) No. 9769/2017 was taken up by the learned Coordinate Bench of this Court on 10.11.2017, the petitioner had alleged that there was some unauthorized construction in property No. A-19-20, Malkaganj, Delhi-110007. 2.

The above said writ petition was disposed of while directing them to look into the matter and take immediate requisite steps so that the illegal activities were not perpetuated. The above said petition was, accordingly, disposed of.

Petitioner has filed the present contempt petition contending that such directions have not been complied with.

Learned counsel for respondent submits that they have already filed an affidavit in this regard stating that though the property was earlier booked for there being certain authorized construction, but fact remains that under the Self Assessment Scheme, the Competent Authority has already approved the regularization of the same building and the concerned owners have already deposited the compounding/regularization charges and, therefore, it cannot be CONT.CAS(C) 210/2018 1 The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above. said that the respondents have committed any contempt. 5.

Such affidavit has also been seen.

There is no appearance from the side of the petitioner today. Quite possibly because of the above said development, the petitioner has lost interest in pursuing with the present contempt petition. 7.

Petition stands disposed of accordingly.

In case, the petitioner is aggrieved by the manner in which the property has been regularized, he is always at liberty to take action, as permissible under law.
