By the present petition, the petitioners essentially seek protection to their life and personal liberty. 2.

The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioners married each other against the wishes of their families. He submits that the parties belonged to different caste and seriously apprehend threat to their life since their parents were against the inter-caste marriage. He submits that out of fear, the petitioners, at this stage, are not even staying in Delhi. 3.

The learned Additional Standing Counsel for the State submits that the complaint was in fact received and they had tried to contact the petitioners but they stated that they are not in Delhi at the moment. He submits that the mobile number of the Beat Officer of the area where the petitioners want to reside would be provided to the learned counsel for the petitioners. and when they feel any immediate threat to their life and liberty. 4.

He submits that the Beat Officer will also be sensitized in that regard and an inquiry will also be conducted with the family members of the petitioners and appropriate action as required would be taken in accordance with law.

In view of the statement given by the learned Additional Standing Counsel for the State, no further orders are required to be passed at this stage.

Needless to say, the petitioners are at liberty to approach this Court in case any grievance remains in the future. 7.

The present petition along with the pending application are disposed of in the aforesaid terms.
