The Petitioner's earlier petition [W.P.(CRL) 2447/2025] was disposed of by order dated 9th September, 2025 to the following effect: "1.

The present petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India read with Section 528 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 seeks grant of parole for a period of four weeks. The Petitioner is a convict serving life sentence in FIR No. 859/2004 registered at P.S. Sangam Vihar under Sections 302/201/34 of Indian Penal Code, 1860 and Section 25 of Arms Act, 1959.

At the outset, Mr. Anand V. Khatri, ASC for the State, raises a preliminary objection regarding the maintainability of the petition on the ground that no representation seeking parole has been submitted by the Petitioner to the concerned authority. In response, counsel for the Petitioner submits that a representation was, in fact, forwarded by him on behalf of the Petitioner.

Be that as it may, since the present petition has now been filed and is duly supported by an affidavit, the same is disposed of with a direction that it shall be treated as a representation to the concerned authority. A decision thereon shall be taken within a period of four weeks from today. The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above. In the event, the Petitioner's request is not accepted, he shall be at liberty to take recourse to appropriate remedies in accordance with law. All rights and contentions of the parties are left open. 5.

Since no decision was taken by the Respondents in compliance with the aforesaid directions, the instant petition has been filed. 3.

Mr. Sanjay Lao, SC for the State, on instructions, submits that a decision shall be taken in terms of the order dated 9th September, 2025, within a period of one week from today. The statement is taken on record. 4.

In view of the above, the present petition is disposed of along with the pending application(s).
