% 19.05.2016 Learned counsel for the petitioners states that the petitioners may file a public interest litigation as the order dated 1st September, 2014 passed by the Ministry of Finance, directing abolition of contractual posts of Prosthotist and Orthotist is contrary to the interests of the patients. He states that the order dated 16th September, 2014 may be challenged for identical reasons.

Learned counsel for the petitioners has also stated that the Tribunal has not addressed the issue of maternity benefits which was raised by petitioner No.2. He states that he would be filing a review application before the Tribunal. In view of and subject to the aforesaid, learned counsel for the petitioner seeks permission to withdraw the present writ petition. In view of the aforesaid statement, the writ petition is dismissed as withdrawn. We do not express any opinion on the other submissions made

by the petitioner. If any writ petition is filed, it will be considered on its own merits.
