% 08.03.2016 CRL.M.A.4130/2016 & /2016 (To Be Numbered) Exemption granted subject to all just exceptions. The applications are disposed of accordingly. W.P.(CRL) 737/2016 The present is a petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India read with Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 (Cr.P.C.) praying as follows:- "It is, therefore, most respectfully prayed that this Hon'ble Court may graciously be pleased to:- a) Issue a writ of certiorari or mandamus thereby passing necessary directions/orders to the concerned Police Authorities as well as respondents No.1 to 3 to provide protection to the life, liberty and personal property of the petitioners and to initiate legal action against the culprits/respondents No.4 to 12 in accordance with law and to protect the life of the petitioners as per the fundamental rights of the Constitution of India, in the interest of justice.

b) Pass any such other further order(s) which this Hon'ble Court may deem fit and proper in the facts and circumstances of the case, in the interest of justice."

Ms. Kamna Vohra, learned Additional Standing Counsel (Criminal) appearing on advance notice on behalf of the State, on instructions from the IO SI Narendra Singh, Police Station- Sonia Vihar, Delhi states that in view of the circumstance that the petitioners are a newly-wed couple, who are apprehending threats at the hands of the family of petitioner No.1, the police would afford adequate protection to them. The beat constable of the concerned area shall also be sensitized in this behalf. The telephone number of the SHO of the concerned police station as well as the beat constable shall be provided to the petitioners in order to enable the latter to contact the former in the event of any threat or apprehension.

Directed accordingly.

In view of the direction that is being issued in the present petition, I do not think necessary to issue notice to respondent Nos.4 to 12 in the present petition.

With the above directions, the writ petition is disposed of. A copy of this order be given dasti under the signature of Court Master to counsel for the parties.
