The present petition alleges wilful disobedience of the order dated 05.11.2024, passed by this Court. In terms of the said order, this Court granted interim stay on the order dated 21.10.2024, passed by Central Information Officer (CIC), which had directed disclosure of personal and financial details of the petitioner to his wife - Ms. Shikha Raniwala, pursuant to the RTI application, filed by the applicant (wife of the petitioner). 2.

The present petition proceeds on the premise that the concerned respondent i.e. Central Public Information Officer (CPIO), Income Tax Department, Ward-4(1), Gurgaon, 2nd Floor, HSIIDC Building, Vanijya Nikunj, Udyog Vihar, Phase-5, Gurgaon-122016 has acted in violation of the The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above. interim order passed by this Court by despatching a letter on 06.11.2024, containing the requisite information, to the wife of the petitioner. 3.

However, during the course of hearing, learned counsel for the Income Tax Department submits that pursuant to gaining knowledge about order passed by this Court on 05.11.2024, the concerned department approached the Post Master and recalled / retrieved the letter despatched on 06.11.2024. Consequently, the concerned department has acted in consonance with the order dated 05.11.2024, passed by this Court. The said statement is taken on record.

In view of the aforesaid, no orders are required to be passed in the present petition. The same is accordingly, disposed of.
