Inspector R.S. Meena, SHO, Police Station Janakpuri West states that as per information available a team from the Crime Branch, Pune had come to Delhi. They had recorded their presence in the aforesaid police station. Notice under Section 160 Cr.P.C. was served on Amar Kesari in a case arising out of FIR No. 184/2016, registered at Police Station Cyber Crime Branch, Pune. Thereafter, Amar Kesari had himself gone to Pune. He is not aware whether any transit remand was

obtained from the Metropolitan Magistrate.

The respondent will file an affidavit explaining the protocol and procedure in case a police team from outside State visits Delhi for the purpose of interrogation or arresting a person and whether the said procedure was followed in the present case. It will be also stated what steps are taken if a police team from outside State does not follow the said procedure.

On oral prayer of the petitioner, Crime Branch, Pune is impleaded as respondent No. 2 to the present writ petition. Notice will be issued to Crime Branch, Pune through the SHO concerned for 5th August, 2016.

Telephone call records of Amar Kesari will be obtained by the Delhi Police and filed in the Court on or before the next date of hearing. Copy of this order will be given dasti to the learned counsel for the parties under signature of the Court Master. SANJIV KHANNA, J.
