Petitioner seeks initiation of contempt against the respondent-DMRC for violating the direction contained in order dated 23.07.2024 passed by learned Division Bench of this Court in W.P.(C) No. 10050/2024. 2.
While disposing of the above said writ petition, the learned Division Bench had directed Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) to decide the petition dated 16.05.2024 as expeditiously as possible and, preferably, within six weeks in accordance with law.

Learned counsel for respondent-DMRC appears on advance notice and submits that such presentation has already been decided, albeit, with little delay.

and a communication in this regard was also sent to the petitioner. 5.
In fact, a copy of the above said decision taken by the DMRC is also part of the present petition as Annexure A-4. 6.
Since the representation has been decided, albeit, with insignificant delay, this Court is of the considered view that there is no case of initiation of any kind of contempt.

Fact, however, remains that if the petitioner feels aggrieved by the manner in which the representation has been decided, if so advised, he can always avail the permissible remedial action as available under the law. 8.
In view of the above said observation, the petition stands disposed of.
