% 23.11.2016 Present contempt petition has been filed alleging wilful disobedience of the order dated 16th December, 2015 passed in Cont.Cas(C) No.995/2015, whereby the Executive Engineer, C-II was directed to forward the petitioner's representation for handing over the management of Dr.B.R.Ambedkar Bhawan/Community Centre at B-Block, JJR Colony, Nangloi, Phase-II, New Delhi on or before 22nd December, 2015 to a Committee, who in turn, was directed to decide the petitioner's representation within a period of six weeks. Learned counsel for the petitioner states that despite the aforesaid order, the Department for the Welfare of SC/ST/OBC/Minorities has rejected the petitioner's representation. Since the short controversy raised in the present contempt petition is that the Selection Committee constituted vide office

memorandum dated 5th November, 2015 should have taken a decision rather than the Department, this Court directs the GNCTD, Department for the Welfare of SC/ST/OBC/Minorities to place the decision dated 2nd May, 2016 for reconsideration before the Selection Committee constituted vide office memorandum dated 5th November, 2015 within a period of four weeks. The decision of the Committee shall be communicated to the petitioner within a period of one week thereafter by registered AD post.

With the aforesaid directions, present contempt petition stands disposed of.
