Appellant has filed an appeal for enhancement of the award dated 06.02.2014 passed by the learned MACT awarding compensation of Rs.1,02,572/- along with interest @ 9% from the date of filing of the claim petition.

After comprehensive discussion, it is agreed between the Learned Counsel for the parties after taking instructions from the respective parties that the respondent-insurance company shall pay Rs. 2,50,000/- as lump sum compensation over and above the award of the learned Tribunal as full and final compensation to the appellant.

In view of the above, direction is issued to the Insurance Company to deposit a sum of Rs. 2,50,000/- before the concerned Tribunal within a period The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above. of six weeks, failing which, the same shall incur interest @ 9% on delayed deposit.

On deposit of the same, direction is issued to the learned Tribunal to release the said amount to the appellant on compliance of all the requisite formalities.
