By the present petition the petitioner challenges the communication dated 8th January, 2018 whereby his application seeking parole on the ground that he has to search for a life partner for himself and to re-establish social ties was rejected on the ground that earlier when the petitioner was granted parole, he jumped the same and thus violated the terms and conditions of parole granted to him.

A perusal of the nominal roll reveals that after the petitioner filed an application seeking parole on 14th December, 2017 the petitioner was granted furlough by the Director General, Prisons for a period of two weeks W.P.(CRL) 781/2018
w.e.f. 12th January, 2018. Thus the petitioner having availed the benefit of furlough, this Court finds no ground to interfere in the communication dated 8th January, 2018 rejecting the grant of parole to the petitioner. 5.
Petition is dismissed.

Copy of the order be communicated to the petitioner through Superintendent, Central Jail, Tihar.
