This is a petition under Section 29A(4) of the Arbitration & Conciliation Act, 1996 seeking extension of mandate of the Arbitral Tribunal for making the arbitral award.

Material on record indicates that the Arbitral Tribunal was constituted on 17.09.2022. It is stated that since the time period for making the award will come to an end on 25.11.2024, the Petitioner has approached this Court seeking extension of time for a period of one year. 3.
It is stated by the learned Counsel for the Petitioner that the matter is at the stage of cross examination of witnesses of the Claimant and an additional time of at least one year would be required by the Arbitral The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above.
