% 27.04.2018 By this petition, the petitioner seeks parole on the ground that his wife is suffering from brain TB and he has to take care of her and the minor children and also to maintain social ties.

On a notice being issued, a Status Report has been filed. However, as per the latest Nominal Roll, the petitioner has been granted furlough by the Director General (Prisons) on 6th April, 2018 which is still to be availed by the petitioner.

Since the petitioner has already been granted furlough which he can avail, this Court finds no ground to pass any order granting parole to the petitioner.

Petition is dismissed.

W.P.(CRL) 1006/2018

However, this order will not come in the way of the petitioner seeking fresh parole from the competent authority.

A copy of this order be communicated to the petitioner through Superintendent, Mandoli Jail.
