The petitioner, which is a Resident Welfare Association of Pocket A-2, Sector-4, Rohini, New Delhi-110085, has filed this writ petition under Article 226 of the Constitution, seeking directions upon the respondents to carry out clearing, repair and maintenance work of the sewer system in the locality.

Mr. Amit Kumar, learned counsel for the petitioner, states that after filing of the writ petition, temporary remedial measures have been taken by the Delhi Jal Board ["DJB"].

Ms. Sangeeta Bharti, learned Standing Counsel for DJB, submits that maintenance work has been undertaken, and will be continued as necessary. DJB has found that a part of the sewer line has been damaged W.P.(C) 16143/2024 The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above. and needs to be repaired, which has to await the lifting of Graded Response Action Plan - IV restrictions upon construction work. Ms. Bharti states that DJB will undertake the necessary repair work thereafter. 4.
In view of the above, Mr. Kumar does not seek any further orders in the present writ petition, which stands disposed of. 5.
Additionally, in order to enable an appropriate administrative mechanism to address such a grievance, DJB is to communicate the name and telephone number of the concerned Assistant Engineer, DJB, to the petitioner through its counsel.
