The present writ petition has been filed by the petitioner praying for grant of parole for a period of three months to enable him to arrange funds and to complete the last rites of his father who expired on 29.07.2015 as well as to maintain social ties.

Notice. Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the State accepts notice.

Perusal of the nominal roll of the petitioner reveals that in column No.19 i.e. State of previous parole/furlough application, it is mentioned that the petitioner has been granted three weeks parole by DG(P) on 27.01.2016 but the same has not been availed by the petitioner till date. 4.
In the given circumstances, the instant writ petition is dismissed. The petitioner is at liberty to avail the furlough (three weeks) granted by DG(P) vide order dated 27.01.2016.

The Petitioner be informed through the Jail Superintendent about the order passed.
