1. For the reasons stated therein, the application is allowed. The writ petition is taken up for hearing.

2. It is pointed out by the Applicants/Respondents that the judgment dated 5th March, 2010 of the Guwahati Bench of the Central Administrative Tribunal, which has been relied upon by the Petitioners in the present case, has been decided to be implemented by the Respondents. A copy of the letter dated 13th April, 2018 issuing the necessary instructions to all the Additional SGs/ Directors for implementation of the order dated 5th March, 2010 in respect of Survey Assistants has been enclosed as Annexure-CM-2 to the early hearing application.
3. It is accordingly pointed out that the grievance of the present Petitioners stands redressed in view of the above instructions which will apply to them as well and, therefore, nothing survives in the present writ petition.
4. The above statement is taken on record. The writ petition and the application are disposed of in the above terms. S. MURALIDHAR, J.
