CORAM:

HON'BLE MR. JUSTICE SIDDHARTH MRIDUL

O R D E R

% 18.05.2016 The present petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India read with Section 482 of Cr.P.C. prays for a direction to the competent authority to release the petitioner on parole in order to enable him to maintain social ties with family and society and to combat inner stress. A perusal of the nominal roll qua the petitioner as well as the status report on behalf of the Government of NCT of Delhi reveals that not only is the petitioner involved in ten other serious offences, but also that his conduct in jail has been unsatisfactory.

In view of the foregoing reasons, the present petition seeking parole is devoid of merit and is accordingly dismissed. SIDDHARTH MRIDUL, J MAY 18, 2016 P
