The matter is taken up today as 28.05.2026 was declared a holiday on account of 'Id-ul-Zuha (Bakrid)'.

During the course of hearing, it transpires that the necessary inspection was done in terms of the directions contained in the order dated 13.02.2026.

It is submitted by the learned counsel for the respondents and also confirmed by the petitioner that as of now there is no sewage / water discharge in the locality in question.

As such, no further orders are required to be passed in the present petition except to direct the concerned Civil Authorities i.e., DJB and MCD to ensure that the area in question is regularly inspected to so that the same is properly maintained and no sewage / water discharge occurs therein. 4.
