The present application seeks modification of order dated 30th October, 2025 passed by this Court in WRIT PETITION (CRL.) NO. 3476/2025 whereby the Petitioner was directed to be released on furlough for a period of 2 weeks.

It is submitted that the Petitioner has already availed all three spells of furlough permissible for the current conviction year. The request of the Petitioner was for release on parole and not for furlough, which aspect was inadvertently not taken note of in the order dated 30th October, 2025. 5.

dated 30th October, 2025, shall now read as under: "6.

It must be noted that the provision of parole is a benevolent one and is designed for the welfare of prisoners. The provision has the intent of rewarding prisoners for their good behaviour, when traces of reformation can be seen in them. Accordingly, having regard to the period of incarceration, the grounds and the object of parole, the Petitioner is released on parole for a period of 2 weeks to re-establish the social-ties with family members, on furnishing of a personal bond in the sum of INR 15,000/- with one surety of the like amount subject to the satisfaction of the Jail Superintendent/Trial Court/Duty Metropolitan Magistrate, and further subject to the following conditions:

(i) The Petitioner shall not leave the NCT of Delhi during the period of parole, without the prior permission of this Court. (ii) The Petitioner shall provide the mobile number(s) to the concerned Jail Superintendent and SHO - P.S. Prasad Nagar, Delhi, at the time of his release, which mobile number shall be kept in a working condition at all times.

(iii) The Petitioner shall appear before the SHO - P.S. Prasad Nagar, Delhi, on every Monday between 11:00 AM and 11:30 AM to mark her presence. However, she shall not be kept waiting for longer than one hour for this purpose. (iv) The Petitioner shall positively surrender before the concerned Jail Superintendent on the expiry of the period of parole."
