Vide order dated 29.10.2025, it was recorded as under: "3. The present petition has been filed by the petitioner, an Afghan national, seeking that the respondents / Foreigners Regional Registration Office (FRRO) and Bureau of Immigration be directed to consider the petitioner's request for extension of petitioner's business visa (B-2 Category).

4. Learned counsel for the respondents, who appears on advance notice, is directed to take instructions as to whether in view of the averments made in the petition and in view of the peculiar facts and circumstances of the case, there is any possibility of extension of the petitioner's business visa, as prayed for."

Learned counsel for the respondents submits that, as an exceptional case and as a one-time measure, the respondents are amenable to consider the petitioner's request for extension of his business visa (B-2 category) upon the petitioner applying afresh for the same. 3.

fresh application to the concerned FRRO, seeking extension of his visa, within a period of three days from today, whereupon the requisite decision shall be taken within a period of two weeks thereafter. 4.

It is further agreed that till conclusion of the aforesaid exercise, no coercive steps / action shall be taken against the petitioner. 5.

The petition is disposed of in the above terms. Pending application also stands disposed of.

At the request of the learned counsel for the respondents, it is again noted that the above directions have been issued in the peculiar facts and circumstances of the case.
