This petition seeks the following prayers:- "a) issue a writ of mandamus or any other suitable writ, order or direction to respondent to correct/change the name of affiliating/examining authority in the decision letter dated 13.08.2025 in respect of B.Pharm course for the present academic session 2025-26 with consequential direction to communicate the same to affiliating/examining authority; and/or b) issue a writ of mandamus or any other suitable writ, order or direction to respondent to issue corrected decision letter regarding extension of approval of B.Pharm course for present academic session 2025-26 with changed/corrected name of affiliating/examining authority;

At the outset, it has been submitted by Mr. Ajay Kumar, learned counsel appearing for respondent/Pharmacy Council of India, that the petitioner/R A S Institute can apply for correction in the name, which has been wrongly recorded on the decision letter available on the portal. 3.

There is no dispute that approval has already been granted for academic year 2025-26 to the said institution, but the name correction needs to be made.

Counsel appearing for petitioner states that they will apply for correction today itself.

Mr. Ajay Kumar, counsel appearing for respondent/Pharmacy Council of India states that the request would be processed within 24 hours. 6.

Accepting this statement, the writ petition is disposed of with liberty to petitioner to approach this Court, in case of any further objection. 7.

Once the correction has been made by the respondent, same shall be communicated via written communication to the petitioner forthwith. 8.
