The Petitioner has filed the present writ petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, inter alia, seeking quashing of seizure memo dated 18th February, 2025 in respect of the goods imported under bill of entry nos. 7752786, 7753306, 7752983, 7754614 and 7753850, all dated 13th January, 2025.
Prayer in the present petition is also for permitting re-export of the goods to the overseas buyers and overseas suppliers as also for provisional release.

Mr. Anurag Ojha, ld. SSC takes a preliminary objection that the seizure of goods has taken place in Chennai, therefore, the correct forum to approach is Madras High Court. After making some arguments, Mr. Pradeep Jain, ld. Counsel appearing for the Petitioner submits that he wishes to withdraw the present writ petition and avail remedies in accordance with law.
