The present writ petition has been filed seeking directions to respondents no.1 and 2 to take action against the unauthorized construction being carried out in property bearing No.692, Chandani Mahal, Daryaganj, Delhi-110002 (hereinafter 'subject property'). 2.

A status report has been filed on behalf of the respondent no.1/ MCD wherein it is stated that there is unauthorized construction in the subject property in the shape of ground floor, first floor, second floor, third floor and fourth floor.

It is also stated in the said report that after following due process of law, demolition order was passed on 16th November, 2015. demolition action has been taken against the subject property on various dates. The last demolition action took place on 29th October, 2025. A watch and ward letter has also been issued on the said date to the SHO, P.S. Chandni Mahal to keep strict watch and ward over the property. The relevant extract from the status report is set out below: 4.

None appears on behalf of the petitioner.

In view of the aforesaid submissions made in the status report, the grievance of the petitioner stands redressed. 6.

Accordingly, the present writ petition is disposed of.. 7.

All rights, contentions and legal remedies of the private respondent no.3/ owner/ occupier are kept open.
