% 12.07.2016 The petitioner has prayed for a direction to the respondents to dispose of/decide the application filed under Section 28A of the Land Acquisition Act, 1894. The said application was filed on 27.04.2015.

The learned counsel for the respondent has taken instructions and states that the said application is pending in the office of the Land Acquisition Collector (South-East). He also states that the same shall be disposed of shortly. We direct that the same be disposed of within six weeks.

The writ petition is accordingly allowed.
