By this petition the petitioner had sought adequate security and protection and that no coercive action be taken against the petitioner. 2.
The petitioner is a major and had married Pushkar Raj on 14th February, 2016. The marriage was performed as an arranged marriage by the parents of the petitioner and Pushkar Raj however, two of them could not pull along and thus took divorce by mutual consent on 19th February, 2018.

The fact that Preeti, the petitioner herein took a divorce by mutual consent did not go well with her parents which was the reason Preeti continued to stay with her ex-husband in the matrimonial home. 4.
Parents of Preeti, respondent Nos. 4 and 5 Bhagat Singh Negi and Sumedha Negi are present in Court. They state that Preeti is a major having done her M.A. and B.Ed. They will facilitate her in pursuing her pursuits and decide her objectives and goals in life. They would render all assistance for the same. The petitioner also intends to join the company of her parents. Since Preeti is major, she is permitted to join the company of her parents or live wherever she so desires.
