A Writ Petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India read with Section 528 BNSS has been filed on behalf of the Petitioner with a prayer that Respondent No.1/State should ensure immediate removal of all Online and media content disclosing the name of the Prosecutrix/Petitioner and to initiate Departmental action against the official responsible for the unauthorized disclosure in connection with FIR No.367/2025 P.S. Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY) to take steps under the Information Technology (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021 to ensure removal or disability of the offending material from all social-media platforms and digital news portals. 4.
Learned ASC for State as well as learned Counsel for Respondent No.2 have appeared, submit that they would abide by the directions as issued by this Court.

Respondent No.1, however, has stated that the Disclosure or leakage had not happened at the State level. However, they shall cooperate in whatever manner this Court directs.

In view of the submissions made, the Respondent No.2 is directed to ensure the removal of the name of the Prosecutrix from all social media posts within five days. The Respondent No.1 shall also ensure that there is no disclosure of the name of the Prosecutrix to any third party. 8.
The Petition is accordingly disposed of.
