Mr. Ashuthosh Bhardwaj, learned counsel for the Petitioner states that the charges has been framed by the Trial Court vide order dated 22.02.2025 and the next date of hearing before the Trial Court is 04.04.2025. He states that he has instructions to withdraw the present petition. He states that however, he prays that the Trial Court be requested to expedite the trial and at least make an endeavor to conclude recording of the testimony of the public witnesses in the first instance.

The Petitioner has been in custody since 11.02.2022 and a period of 3 years has already lapsed.

Mr. Khanna, learned APP states that there are approximately 64 witnesses to be examined and out of the same 19 are public witnesses. He states that the prosecution will make an endeavor to 'first' examine the public witnesses.

Learned counsel for the Petitioner and the prosecution both state that they will cooperate with the Trial Court and not seek any unnecessary adjournment.

In the aforesaid facts, learned Trial Court is requested to make an endeavor to 'first' record the testimony of the public witnesses. The Trial Court is also requested to hear the matter as per its seniority and Court Calendar, without granting any unnecessary adjournment to either party. 6.

With the aforesaid directions, the present petition is dismissed as withdrawn.
