Petitioner seeks initiation of contempt proceedings against the respondent for wilful disobedience of the order dated 12.08.2024 passed by the Coordinate Bench of this Court in W.P.(C) 10921/2024 whereby the Directorate of Education (DoE) was directed to consider the representation dated 04.01.2024 of the petitioner, by way of a reasoned and speaking order, within six weeks.

According to petitioner, despite the expiry of abovesaid period of six weeks, his representation is still undecided. 3.
Learned counsel for respondent appears on advance notice and, on instructions, submits that the abovesaid representation shall be decided by the respondent within three weeks from today.

Learned counsel for petitioner states that in view of the abovesaid statement made by learned counsel for respondent, he does not press his present petition at the moment and it may be disposed of accordingly. He, however, submits that he may be given permission to either file it afresh or revive the present petition if there is no disposal within three weeks from today.

In view of the above, the present petition stands disposed of as not pressed. Liberty, as prayed, is granted.
